I have practised art for many years and have an excellent understanding of and experience with design theory, figure and perspective drawing, colour theory and mixing, composition and art techniques, and physical problem solving, that provides a foundation for many artistic outlets.

Digital art is my favourite medium to work with (Procreate, Photoshop, Sketchbook Pro), and has led me to proficiencies in the Adobe Suite and a crossover into graphic design and animation. I’m also very inspired by combining traditional methods of painting, photography and abstract mixed media art and using digital software to manipulate and create finished designs. See this part of my portfolio for that! This is a method of choice for designing artwork for music.

My illustration work for La La Land has allowed me to finesse my skills in realistic portraiture, posing, facial expression, digital painting and blending on Procreate, and creating visually appealing, saleable artworks that complement the spirit of each character. My greeting cards are proving to be top-sellers to retailers across Australia and New Zealand and are being reprinted quarterly.

I am enjoying the process of developing my artistic style, and am always keen to explore new creative avenues.
